MLS says start time is 5PM, not 10PM.

Might be a really rough week for the youngsters on the back line. If we can keep the cards to a minimum as well as slow the attack so Blake is not just trying to stop target practice we might get a point or two

It is 5 PM. My mistake, copy and paste error, will fix now.

Would like win to both, would rather win this one for conference reasons.

Psychologically, the backline can say they've come up against Clint Dempsey and David Villa already and done considerably well for themselves. I hope they don't come into this one scared.

Drogba gets an early goal but the Union come back in the 80th minute to tie it up. Ends up being a surprisingly good game all things considered.

Drogba isn't the issue....trying to defend Piatti is. Piatti is a top 3 player in MLS. The Galaxy game has the glamour of LA and it's stars, but this game will be the true test of where the Union are and how much they have improved.

We won there last year. Does lightning strike twice?

Well, according to noted meteorologist Stevie Nicks, lightning strikes, maybe once, maybe twice. And then you see your Gerrard. Or something.

Thank you, and after also consulting with Joe Strummer, I did indeed find that Lightning Strikes (Not Once But Twice).

Garth Brooks said the Thunder Rolls, then the Lightning strikes, but I refuse to root for Oklahoma City.

Who would have predicted at the start of the season that this match would be a battle for the top of the East? I am really enjoying this season.

When going through the stats from last night it was kind of nice knowing that we do have some form of squad rotation available for a change. BC7 had a game off, then played well last night. He can now take another break, and we have guys who can slot it and do the same job. It's very refreshing.

Of course, just because those options are available, doesn't mean Jimmy C is going to use them.

Would like to see Gaddis, Ilsinho and Creavalle start on Saturday. Wouldn't mind seeing Tribbett and Alberg start as well.

Edit: @slitz beat me to it by a few seconds.
