Rookie Tsubasa Endoh also scored his first MLS goal for Toronto FC, assisted by Sebastian Giovinco! #callhimup #Rio2016 That ball from Seba. That finish from Endoh. The rookie's first MLS goal puts @TorontoFC in front 1-0. #TORvDAL https://t.co/hUIofUoYFf— Major League Soccer (@MLS) May 8, 2016
GET IN ENDOH!!!!!! I'm happy for him! Great way to throw some of the weight off that he carried in the beginning of the season.

oh boy that interpreter....... it cracked me a laugh. In the question on Endoh the english reporter says that Tsubasa "maybe wasn't making the runs you were looking for (in the game against Portland)" and that he perfected bla bla The italian translation is absolutely hilarious, apart from it being grammatically a mess he says "he wasn't walking well" hahaha Brb sending my resume to Toronto lol
They pay Seba $7 million a year, no $ left for a competent interpreter? I guess with Bradley around you don't really need one on the practice field, but still...
To be fair, he only had 3 previous starts and is still getting acclimated to the league. But he just helped beat the defending MLS Cup champions and made the weekly best XI, not bad. http://www.sportsnet.ca/soccer/masa...ver-whitecaps-carl-robinson-portland-timbers/

'11 0-0. Concern on the pitch as Masato Kudo gets in a collision with Matt Lampson.— Vancouver Whitecaps FC (@WhitecapsFC) May 12, 2016 Kudo is up and walking but looks to be done for the night. Many thanks to @ChicagoFire players who ran to help the situation.— Vancouver Whitecaps FC (@WhitecapsFC) May 12, 2016 Standing ovation and chants as the medical cart takes Masato Kudo off the pitch. Kudo! Kudo! Kudo!— Vancouver Whitecaps FC (@WhitecapsFC) May 12, 2016 Nasty collision, Kudo hurt #VANvCHI #WhitecapsFC #VWFC pic.twitter.com/bsvMOqaeNi— Rob Williams (@RobTheHockeyGuy) May 12, 2016
Kudo is out for a while with a broken jaw, while Endoh is starting for Toronto a week after his first MLS goal. Kobayashi and Herivaux are on the bench for the Revs.
Kobayashi came on in the 2nd half in a New England win. Endoh played 90 mins and looks more comfortable on the ball and using technical flair and creativity. Also, apparently he got a call from the JFA president after the last match.
Zach Herivaux gets the start in the US Open Cup and scores his first professional goal. A moment I'll never forget! Thanks for all the support! #firstgoal https://t.co/5RABJc3RUC— Zachary Herivaux (@ZHerivaux100) June 16, 2016
HT: @masatokudo9's flying header has @WhitecapsFC in front. #VANvORL https://t.co/qXKRBtf9VS— Major League Soccer (@MLS) July 17, 2016 Kudo's back from his injury...
Tsubasa Endoh witnessed from the bench Toronto's incredible gyakuten against Montreal. After losing the first leg 3-2, the team went under 1-0. However, they brought it back until it was 3-2 in their favor. Then, during extra times, Toronto scored 2 more goals to reach the MLS final.
The two legs between Montreal and Toronto were some great football. And that was with the biggest imports Drogba and Giovinco playing relatively subdued roles. Looking forward to the final against Seattle.
