Yep. Losing three CBs today; Basanta, Bagadur and Hegazy.

Jesus. Are they really relying on the remaining players to stay fit ALL season?

Kuba's a quality signing provided he hasn't lost it with injury, was out most of last season. Always looks impressive for his country.

    Where's Bagadur going?

Tends to run of pitch before putting in a good cross. Also, crossing isn't great from my memory, but he works his socks off.

Don't know where'd I'd find all that information but considering Gomez and Joaquin are gone, that free'd up $$$.
Joaquin alone was almost banking 2m a year. I think Gomez was double.

Joaquin definitely gone then? Can't really keep an unhappy player to be fair.
Think we could've done with one more defender and a defensive midfielder.
    Attacking options look good though.

With Basanta gone that stretches our defense out even more. I feel confident with our midfield though. Suarez, Valero, Badelj, Vecino, Verdu are all able to play a deep lying role. Then we have Fernandez, Jakub, Ilicic in attacking positions.

Our CBs are Gonzalo, Tomovic, Roncaglia, Astori and Bagadur. That's all I can think of off the top of my head anyway.

Yea, Gomez was making 4M a year. Bad news is Iakovenko is back with us, along with his 1M salary. I think Roncaglia is similar.

Ron Vlaar would be a solid signing, out until November, but he was a solid CB in the premier league.

What I don't get about Joaquin is why did he wait until a week before the deadline to demand the move. If he knew in July that he wanted to go to Betis, I think everybody would have been more accommodating.

We got 7 guys (maybe 8 if Sepe displaces Tata) who should see substantive playing time this season. That's plenty for me.
