Another home win and clean sheet, fortress New York. Apparently it's the first time Brighton have lost away in the league all season.
Bristol 1-2 Preston MK Dons 0-5 Burnley Huddersfield 5-0 Charlton Owls 3-2 Bolton Good results elsewhere as well!
Is Burke from Forest a good signing for your squad? A point on the road today, nice. Be good to see you guys stay north of the red zone come May.
No idea what he's like but I think so if it's to replace Frecklington as he has been suffering with injury again recently. I think our 6 pointer against Charlton today is on US television if you want to watch us.
League Championship is on BeIn Sports, and both BeIN Sports channels are showing Barcelona-Atletico Madrid.
hey myshoe, what's gone wrong with Chris Maguire over there? BBC has you releasing him by mutual consent. Was he that shite? He looked quite useful (in spurts) at Hillsborough.
It seems like our managers didn't rate him and when he did play our fans didn't either, there's been rumours of off the field stuff too but nobody really knows for sure about that. We've sacked Redfearn btw so get your CV sent in Ivan. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35524363 We've been **** lately and lost key games so I can't say I'm disppointed to see him go, it's a bit strange that we would sack him 4 days after appointing his assistant on a 2.5yr deal though. I wonder if there's been some sort of bust up?
Oi! Myshoe! Whaddaya make of this?! http://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/feb/10/neil-warnock-rotherham-manager-on-course I'm loving that, I am. It may come as a shock ... some might find find my distaste for a twunt like Steve Evans to be an indicator that I'd also dislike a twunt like Neil Warnock, as well, which is rational. But I do not! I've always liked Warnock, even whilst in charge at the Sty. Even at Leeds! Salvation is right around the corner. I can feel it!
I think it'll take a bit of a miracle to turn things around now, if we had appointed Stuart Gray when Evans left we might be in a much stronger position today as he would have probably sorted our defensively frailties. I think too much damage has been done over reccent weeks and now the transfer windows is closed as well. Fingers crossed I'm wrong.
just after my last post, I was trying to decide between two different snarky Paddy Kenny comments to put up; but apparently left before making a decision and never got back to it. now i'm kicking myself ... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-signs-goalkeeper-Paddy-Kenny-FIFTH-time.html not that it's any kind of exceptional insight, or anything ... I mean, it had to happen, didn't it?
We'll probably need him for our League One survival campaign next season, Lee Camp will probably have a release clause for if we get relegated. By the looks of it he won't need to move about much to block the ball.
We'd might as well start preparing for League One if we haven't already, it's become all too reminiscent of the 2004/05 season when we last got relegated from this division. Evans probably realised we weren't good enough and wanted more money to spend and then threw his toys out of the pram when our chairman said no, in fairness to our chairman a lot of money has been wasted since our promotion, spending over half a million on players like Jordan Bowery and Clarke-harris who have barely featured and countless other players taking up wages who simply weren't good enough. Still, League One and financially stable is better than the mess we were in last time it happened.
Frecklington rushed back from injury and we look decent again, please stay fit until the end of the season!!
I could have done but as usual I didn't. I'm a proper armchair fan these days. It's streamd online anyway.
A bit of an ugly win and probably lucky not to have conceded a goal but the points are all that matter at this stage, especially as MK Dons won again.
Middlesbrough at home tonight, I'd settle for a draw. Charlton v MK Dons though, as long as MK don't win I'll be happy.
