Since the season is almost over, we should have a new thread for offseason player moves, be they loans, trades, signings, waivers, and anything else.

    A current recap of moves-

Lori Lindsey retires from the Spirit, goes to Canberra to end her career.
Jessica Fishlock goes to Frankfurt on loan from the Reign, will return for the start of the 2015 season.
Becky Edwards re-signs with the Dash, goes on loan to Kristianstad for the remainder of the 2014 Damallsvenskan season.

    Did I miss anything?

Well this would have been more relevant in the In Season thread ... which Blaze closed in some power fueled bender ... next she'll have us wearing matching outfits ;)

    Anywho, Nadim's musical twitter farewell

2 more loans revealed today by the Dash- Ochs will return to Canberra, and Burger will return to Neulengbach.

Sounds to me like she's enjoy being back next year. Then again, as prolific as she was compared to her normal club form, I guess it's not surprising. X-D
Dash doing loans? Does that mean Ochs and Burger are set to return next year as well?

So they control Burger...that's interesting. I noticed Burger in a tweet/interview mention taking what they r learning this season and applying it next season. I took that to mean she was coming back and Im glad. She is a solid player who brings something a little different around goal than their speedy players. Burger also seems comfortable as an attacking midfielder.

I wonder how Burger works NWSL into her job. U would think it's hard to get several months off if ur a police officer.

I don't know for how long she signed with Portland but according to 1. FFC Frankfurt she'll be with them until June 30, 2015.

I read the PR story that Portland put out and it sounds like she was only signed for this season. If that's the case, and she isn't able to return for any part of 2015, that trade for her is looking like a horrible deal for the Thorns.

    No shit.
Though I feel for Vero. Why haven't someone offered her a two year deal yet? The kid gives her all when ever she step on the pitch. Her tweets after each game for Portland made her seem like the captain.

Well Portland simply cant offer her enough money. She was basically here as a pro bono player.

Which is why we still see American players going oversees to play.

Im not a big fan of it. She has already been playing non stop since the beginning of the Swedish season in early Spring. Now add eight months of German season, then WC. If she doesnt take a break then and returns to Portland she'll be pretty much playing continuously. Tough on the body and even tougher on the mind.

Jess Fishlock has received contract till June but she has the chance to leave earlier depending on how far Frankfurt will reach in the #UWCL
