Thanks. Sure, I'm not saying a defeat can't happen and I think this Colombian team is better than ours but the intangibles might help us. I'm just saying that if Brazil advances the board will again be flooded with haters yelling all sorts of excuses.
Hey as long as it's fair and legit, decided by talent and skill with a fair unbiased ref, they'll have less to argue.
im so anxious for this game to begin. All of Colombia is united, looking forward to such a huge challenge. Confidence is definitely not lacking for this team and the fans. Playing the Pentacampeon for the world cup, in their own house. High stakes, win or go home... it doesn't get any better than this for me.
There you go. The Colombian players will be disoriented and will pass the ball to Brazilian players, since they're used to passing to people wearing yellow jerseys. Brazil will win.
Colombia clearly has the edge here. As a team, they showed much more than lackluster Brazil. HOWEVER, Brazil has better individual players, and the home advantage. So that may level things. Therefore, I guess we will go to PKs agains. A 2-2 draw, I guess?
I´m clearly not brazilian and had goose bumps when I read that. Don´t be so cruel with your fellow countrymen
Now, I believe that Colombia's fairplay could be their undoing. Unlike other countries, the clean Colombians are not likely to chase Neymar around and disable him right at the beginning of the match like the Chileans did. Brazil always plays a lot better when Neymar is in good shape.
Hahaha. Dude. My passions are ranked as follows: Atlético Mineiro >>> Football (the sport) >>> Brazil's MNT So, if Brazil plays like sh*t, you can expect me to go medieval on them. The sport comes first. =P
If we were talking about club tournaments, I would back my team 100%. Play as bad as they want, winning is more important.
Us, of course. We're the home team, after all. Anyway, I've been kind of disillusioned with the boring chants (a consequence of few torcidas organizadas), so here's my contribution. All in good fun: Colômbia, Colômbia, eu quero ver! O Brasil enteiro, Te informa, Que estamos juntos, A Taça do Mundo é nossa! Pois defendem, A tra-di-ção, Do meu Bra-sil, Penta-camp-eãaaao! Chegou a hora! Olha lá! Liiiindo lançamento do Oscar! E olha lá, olha lá! Que golaaaa-ço do Ney-mar! E olha lá! Olha-lá-que-vem o avi-ãaao, De vol-ta-prá-Bo-go-tá! Tchau, tchau, ti-minho-feio! O Brasil enteiro, De novo informa, Que a Taça do Mundo é nossa! Lêee, lê lê ooooh, lê lê oh, lê lê oh, lê lê oh, Brasil! (x3+)
yup, was disoriented. I thought this wc was only affecting my heart but it seems to be taking a sensible part of my brain as well Liked your chant. I´m sure you could use it, with a few minor changes, everytime you hear our newest hit , played in every stadium with albiceleste colors.
Hehe. I've heard that one before, and thought it was pretty damn good. Except that you guys seem to be a lot more hung up on 1990 than we are. We've won two Copas (as many as you have, in total) since then. There's a reply chant, gaining popularity, that drives home this exact point: Se você é Argentino, diga então como é que é...
Of course it's about titles. If you guys did your part more consistently by getting to deep into the tournament, there would be more WC matches. For now, and possibly until June 13, we'll just have to content ourselves with Copa America 2004 and 2007, and the 2005 Confederations Cup.
