none of the groups with Mexican teams look too hard apart from the Brasilian teams.

Morelia got lucky they didn't get stuck in group 6.

 

I think Morelia can get through, but barley. Should be some good matches between Flamengo and Leon.

 

Marquez will stomp some southies for sure. Looking forward to it. Too bad he didn't get Dinho's Mineiro in the group. Any chance they could meet if Leon advance?

 

Mineiro is not very good. Not impressive against Cholos last year, and not impressive against that Moroccan team in the Club WC.

 

I think Leon can only face Mineiro in the finals.

Interested to see Santos vs Peñarol also.

Surpriesed theres no Boca Juniors, Corinthians and all those familiar faces you see in Libertadores. The other 2 teams in the first stage are Lanus from Argentina and U. de Chile.
