I was watching the interview of Bofo on Nacion ESPN and Bofo says the team has been reinforced well with himself, ANOTHER argentino, and a colombiano. .???? Could he just be talking about Mauro Rosles or is he talking about another argentenian aparte de Mauro? Also a columbian? Qual colombiano has visto en las practicas recientemente? Interesting! Nacion ESPN is a good show by the way
Agustin Pelletieri was with the club this past Friday. It's weird that they haven't announced his signing. I haven't heard any news about him not signing for Chivas USA from Argentina. He was supposedly heading to Chivas USA to sign for 1 year. Update: Sounds like he is on trial & hasn't signed yet.
So how'd they look? I know it's early in the preseason, but what do you think of the re-infocements so far?
English FW Luke Moore link to the club http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11661/9152572/transfer-news-luke-moore-set-for-mls-switch Salvadorian MF Efrain Burgos, Jr at camp https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=587413288001658
1.good lord bofo looks old. it almost looks like this was a tribute match. i got flashbacks of the maradona debacle 2.other than that soft first goal given up, larry jackson looks pretty solid 3.mcmullet seems to be a bonafide workhorse. created lots of chances.
A Luke Moore and Torres duo up top might be strong, especially if Rosales can really bring it this year.
Hell no we will be top-flight security of the world Soldi, not of MLS but of the world! Yea I think we can hang in there or even better.
That would be best case scenario, I think it'll be more dependant on how bad our other conference teams are and not so much how good/bad we are. I'll be happy with some wins and plenty of goals! #arribaelsuperbofo
Depends on how good the depth is. Sure, the starting 11 is really starting to look promising, but what happens when the injuries and the cards start piling up?
I think it's to early to tell. Our back line was the main issue & not scoring goals. It looks like Cabrera prefers closed-door scrimmages & practice. Sucks because only media is allowed to shine in on whats going on. Honestly did anyone else think Bocanegra was slow last season? Burling too. Chivas USA needs to improve all over.
McMullet looks solid. Looked like a young Mauro. Fondy with that hustle like always. Good comeback. Not bad.
It would seem that more reinforcements are on their way... http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/artic...g-spanish-midfielder-dani-fragoso-and-argenti Throw in the Laba rumors and the Western Conference shake up, and this could be a team that just might surprise a few people.
Agreed. It's rumor central for Chivas. First time in I don't know how many years that the the forum comments following articles about Chivas usa on MLS.com aren't all negative. I'm almost certain we are getting the spaniard Fragoso but I think the argentino Barrera would bring more weight. And if we lock up Laba. All these signings would bring depth, a great season on the field, and a deep team to play in conca champions the following year. 1. Pelletieri 2. Bofo 3. Rosales 4.AJP 5. Ribiero Possibly: Fragoso, Barrera, and Laba Great off season productivity. MLS brass definitely have their hands in the cookie jar
