Japan will have: 3 - GKs 4 - FBs 4 - DCs (one of them a mobile one like Inoha who can play at some other position as well) 4 - MCs 5 - AMC/AMR/AMLs (Kiyo, Kagawa, Honda, Okazaki, and the 5th man spot people are racing for atm) 3 - strikers (currently looks like Kakitani, Osako and again a spot people are racing for) Now if you look at it. Okazaki is an inner forward in JNT but can also play as a striker so that actuall means 4 strikers + Honda can theoretically play as a striker as well so you kind of get 5. 4 - 5 strikers is plenty for formation which uses one or 2 (other being the inner one) As to which FW will go there are about 5-6 candidates 1 - Toyoda 2 - Kudo 3 - Haveenar 4 - Okubo 5 - Sato 6 - Kawamata And the list ends there.
we're a bit OT but it's fine I guess hmm it's not too useful to count them that way: Morimoto, Tamada, Okazaki were 3 strikers. Then Yano, Okubo, were used in another way. Wait, it's not a given yet. For example in the Confederations Cup it was 3 GKs 4 FBs 4 DCs 4 MCs 6 - AMC / AMR / AMLs 2 - strikers (+ Okazaki like against Brazil) who was making the number difference then ? It was Kengo so it could end being 2 strikers + Okazaki again, it's just one single position after all. It's very hard to predict the 23th player right now, in my opinion. He put you a list in order, it wasn't random. I still think Okubo has a bit more chances than him currently though.
yep his been missed out intentionally as his chances of making it, is as high as someone getting locked inside a grocery store and starving
Anyway. because of havenaars height. he has advantage over everyone else. i think zac will have no choice but to take him, so that he has optiona
Er not really. Guys like Toyoda and Osako are pretty good in the air. I don't think Mike has a great shot.
I'd put my 50 cents on Toyoda getting called for the last CF spot. I believe even Kawamata has more chances than Mike right now.
Toyoda is a way more agressive jumper and physically stronger. Both things which people see as main advantages for Haveenar who every single time I watched him play was crappy in contested headers
lol you're in for a surprise then I guess this is also false, as he was selected for the JNT camp, and even did pretty well. The real problem is that he so far isn't doing well enough in JLeague. Nothing in particular, but I think currently Toyoda is ahead of him. I personally still suspect there is not going to be a 3rd striker as it's Okazaki, so it depends mostly on Kakitani's form actually. Take in mind that squads have to be confirmed before the 2nd of June, last I remember. Which means that the friendlies against Costa Rica and Zambia will be played with the final selection
17:45 gmt (UTC-0) Vitesse - Groningen For Europa League spot Playoff Match Agreggate 0-1 in favour of gronigen. Vittese play at home. Havenaar started last game. Surely he will start this and hopefully score the descisive goal
Also whoever said havenaar sucks at headed goals and that toyoda is ahead of him (dax?), needs to watch this I think he will go to WC2014 because of high height and heading ability
hmmm, seems story maybe true. http://www.ad.nl/ad/nl/1435/Vitesse...esse-spits-Havenaar-in-beeld-bij-Napoli.dhtml But i dont think havenaar would get much playing time at napoli
i think its now highly likely. many sources are reporting it (his agent is the one who revealed the interest?): http://www.goal.com/nl/news/786/transfers/2014/05/10/4807925/agent-havenaar-meldt-interesse-napoli Its more likely because it will be a free transfer. Lol, after most people here under rated havenaar he will now be in the same ranks as Kagawa, and Honda
Benifica is also apparently after him: http://www.omroepgelderland.nl/web/...napoli-azen-op-mike-havenaar.htm#.U25UfvldV6k
Never in my posts I said that he sucks, and not at headed goals. But yes, Toyoda is ahead of him in JNT chances. He won't be called up.
