He's got the turning circle of a bus and no pace. Zat Knight is head and shoulders above our other CBs (literally and figuratively), that's never a good thing. He looks looks to be another wonderful signing by Coyle, the only redeeming feature is that he may get better having not played in a while.

I get the feeling he, like Ream, Pratley, Alonso, Sordell and Ngog are going to cost the club money when the next manager shows them the door.

Mills in for Ream (who is nowhere to be seen), Alonso in for Ricketts, ummm CYL out

Bogdan, Mears, Mills, Knight, Alonso, M Davies, Andrews, Spearing, Eagles, K Davies, Ngog

I can't work out the formation. 4-4-2 with Mavies on the right?

    Until last night.

Coyle hasn't got long left. Anything less than a win on saturday against Sheffield Wednesday will see him gone (11 months too late IMO)

FWIW we've lost 30 of the last 100 games conceeding around 100 goals.

We are currently 1-0 up against Sheff Weds and look good for it too. Wednesday have been mostly poor, they've had the occasional half decent break but no real chances. Eagles could have had a hattrick.

Well well well. 2-0 down after quarter of an hour vs Bristol City and we come back to win 3-2, goals from Eagles, Spearing and Petrov. Let's not get away from the fact that the team was set out was poor, very soft in the middle. However a win is a win.

2-2 Vs Wolves. Mavies and Afobe with the goals, the scoreline flatters Wolves as we were all over them.

2-1 defeat to Millwall. Bogdan yet again at fault for one of the goals. I can't understand why so many Bolton fans think he's good or will come good with time. He's always been a poor keeper who makes a few good looking saves then makes a blunder. Freedman's first job is going to be sorting the defence out and bringing a new keeper in I reckon.

Coyle's (lack of) strategic vision and procurement policy to match was shocking. I'm a regular A-League watcher and every club down here has a manager with a much better sense of where their team needed to be and how to get them there, and that's been the case for years now.
