Stuttgart were much better after he and Sakai came on. Pretty much what we expect from him -- a lot of energy and hustle, but failed to score. Missed some decent chances, but he did set up one with his effort off the post. I think we all know that he's not the greatest finisher, but there's an element of luck to goalscoring too.

They've signed norwegian striker Moa from Hannover. So more competition if he stays.

Still thinking that a loan - in the year of WC - would be better.

Pretty sure he made Stuttgard bite their nails yesterday. Should we keep him or not? :D
Great game by Okazaki, specially second half.

I don't wanna see more Okazaki benched in the next season. He will be a starter for sure in WC2014, he's our best scorer and then he ********ing deserves to play regulrarly.
If this means a transfer then do it.

He has one year left now, right? So it's either transfer or sign a new one with Stuttgart. Something will happen in any case.

They need to change their jersey in a blue style so Okazaki will transform into Suppa Okachan and score tons of goal in the next Bundesliga.

That would be good for a loan.

Actually, I see Mainz as one of maybe two or three good options to make a permanent move within the Bundesliga. An ambitious coach whose system is just perfect for Zakioka, no insane expectations/pressure like in Stuttgart. And anyway, loan moves won't happen in the last year of a contract.

I didn't know his contract was running out of time. Will he renew with Stuttgart?

I don't think he is offered extension at this point. SD Bobic does not sound like he wants to keep him forever.

The way things are going - unsuccessful club season + entering last year of contract + arguably our best man at the Confed Cup - it is probably the best time to sell him.

Seem like they want both Okazaki and Koo Ja-cheol.
