For MLS Cup? Pretty much no way that's happening. Maybe if it were at RFK or Gillette, or Seattle, where you could find cheap seats, but not HDC. They wouldn't have time to get a head count before the game was sold out, for one thing.

I would..because I'm not a STH and would legitimately go..especially if my ticket to the match was paid for. I also was looking at prices..expedia had 230ish round trip

I'm not disagreeing with your logic, but man, with the tremendous ownership we have, maybe in the future they could do something like this ^_^

Let's run it up the flagpole and see if anyone salutes it :p

What more do you want from them? They built you an awesome stadium, stacked the team with a good coaching staff with good eyes towards good players, free away road tickets, free parking, some of the cheapest food and drinks in stadium I've ever seen, free tickets for friends and family, owners who actually give a damn about the fans by hanging out with them during tailgates and games, a social media platform that is rivaled by none, and not to mention every other single thing they do.

I'd like to give back for once and support them myself if they make it to the cup. It would show that I'm doing my part towards them.

But the league always sets aside tickets for supporters of both teams.

It'd be generous but unnecessary, if people need a free ticket to become sufficiently motivated to attend the MLS Cup Final I'm not sure I would want to stand with em. Sounds bastardy I guess ... but there are gobs of us that will go with or without a leg up from the team.

My rep told me yesterday that the STH playoff tickets would be mailed out today.

I think you're missing my point completely... I know it's a pipe dream and won't happen. I was just making a subtle cheer at our ownership and saying that if an MLS team did something like that, 99.99% of the chance it would be our wonderful team, that is all. They have definitely given the biggest damn for their fans I've ever seen across most all sports.

OK, so there is now an East team in the West bracket, and if Colorado wins tonight......

Though it won't happen (since nobody will take a win from LSP but us :D), how weird would it be if New York met Colorado in the final representing the opposite conference than the one they played in all year? Think there will be more changes to the system next year? Oof.

Base fair was 163.72 each way (these are direct flights on Southwest), and $22.98 in government fees on both flights. $186.70 each way.

I just looked again and the total cost is now sneaking up on $400 total for the cheapest flights. You pay more taxes on indirect flights.
