Just based on results so far, I would be optimisitic. But with all our injuries (and Hassli and Koffie's indiscretions), we might be in tough, which is a real shame, because with a few more bodies, I think this really could have been 3 points on the road.

I am going to wait until Sunday to make a call for the score - I want to see how we are doing injury wise. If Chiumiento, Teibert, and DeMerit are all playing, I still think a 2-1 win is possible.

Koffie is out despite the red. He called called up to the Ghana U-20 team. He will miss three games.

This is going to be a loss...

I just don't see how we can accomplish 3 points unless some combination of Harmse/Morfaw/Thorrington plays out of their minds in centre mid and Chiumiento rips up the right wind behind Harris and Camilo.

When's Salgado back from Intl Duty?

He might be playing in this game. US was dumped out of the U-20's by Guatemala on Wednesday.

    So...

    Harris - Camilo
    Teibert - Thorrington - Chiumiento - Khlafan
    Rochat - DeMerit - Boxall - Leathers
    -----Cannon

That seems like a lineup that has a shot against a mediocre Houston team.

That lineup can easily pull out 3 points Sunday.

I have been very impressed with the amount of offense your team has produced thus far. It is always difficult to get a result on the road, but I think a win is possible against Houston. My question is why is the Vancouver logo smaller than Houston's in the OP? That is an oversight that the Whitecap faithful should not let stand. whiteisthecolour, you should be ashamed of yourself. :)

That's how we roll in Vancouver. We do our work, wait unassumingly, then watch our boys beat all odds and emerge winners. We don't need to trumpet or inflate; we win. 7 championships in 5 different leagues.

    Since 1974, baby. :)

In regards to the crest/badge being smaller. I've seen on various sites the same thing but I think it comes down to that it's just smaller than other club crests.

For example, in the Prem, I think the Wolves crest is much smaller than say Villa's. But, websites will enlarge crest images so they all appear "equal" in comparison to their league opponents. I may be wrong however in all this but it's kind of difficult to know unless you get the official dimensions from each club's crest design.

So these cheap bastards in Houston can't erase the gridiron lines from the pitch for the game?

Oh wait, they covered them up with a different shade of green. What a crowd, USL size!

Jeez....Wagner, trying to go through two people instead of passing.

I don't get why MLS clubs can't string together more passes than 2.
