I agree, with the crap we've had at Def mid for our guys.... wouldnt hurt to put him over Flores, old man Robles, or even Nacho who is seeming more and more past his prime.
Hey.... he had some awesome games for Bolivar OK!!!! He played awesome vs union espanola (in the libertadores) before he got that BS red card. Typical i know.... lol
Current Schedule (Will be Updated in RED throughout the tournament): Second Stage: 8/30 -5:00 PM CT - Aurora@ Nacional (PAR) - 1-1 9/20 - 5:15 PM CT - Aurora vs. Nacional (PAR)
Felicidades a Aurora por clasificar a los Octavos de Final con una goleada (5-2) contra Nacional de Paraguay. Unos de los mejores partidos de un club Boliviano en una competencia internacional (Copa Sudamericana). Vamos Aurora! Vamos Bolivia!
Aurora taking care of business at home again winning 3-1. The Vasco goal was a total fluke and bad move by the goalie. Other than that, Aurora's goals were ligit with Andaveris scoring one. Commentators were talking about Bolivia's game comming up, as usual nothing good to say other than, let's hope they can do well.
that was a big win against Nacional de PY...was that at home too? I may have misheard it was in PY, that would have been BiG. About to watch it on youtube.
In cochabamba they DESTROYED them. It was the second leg at home, they needed to win big, and win big they did. Happy for Aurora.
that game was intense and loved the crowds' support. Watching the recap on youtube, it made me sort of upset to hear the commentary, which is often biased against our teams. It shows in the wording they choose. For instance, in the second goal, it clearly shows the Paraguayan reaching his arms around one of the Aurora's player inside the box, and it's called a penalty. Fine, you can argue against it. But they go beyond that to say that it completely changed the development of the game. And that was the second goal. Really? 5 - 2. And I don't even want to know if they mention la altura.
Halftime in brasil Vasco de Gama 3 - Aurora 1 Aurora was doing quite well and it was 1-1 but then Galindo got a red card in the 35th minute. Vasco proceeds to score two gols, with a dagger in the 44th. Auroras goalie is the worst I've seen in some time, I thought his super gaff in cochabamba against Vasco was a fluke, seems to be the norm for him. Aurora fell apart after going down a man don't seem them holding on. Horrible defense too, SMH
Vasco wins on aggregate of 9-6 Aurora has been in some total shootouts lately. Playing down a man most of the game changed everything. Props to them though, they're a small team starting a 37yr old, a few journeymen outcasts and a guy whose top experience came from Miami Fc and the local miami amateur leagues. On paper Vasco should have absolutely destroyed them but when it was 11v11 it was a very even game. Even after the sending off the aggregate was still fairly close. They did well enough that they should be proud of their effort. Shame on the "big" teams like bolivar/oriente/blooming/strongest that can't have a similar effort.
did Vasco used its main team? I am under the impression Juninho and Diego Souza didnt even play... or did they?
Juninho started and caused absolute havoc throughout the game especially when they were a man up, Auroras defense had no answer for him. I don't think Souza played I don't know.
