http://www.playoffstatus.com/mls/mlspostseasonprob.html check out this website which has the schedule and playoff probabilities for each team. not sure how those were calculated but it does involve "relative team strengths" not just based on the flip of a coin outcomes for remaining games. will leave it open for speculation and then debate.
