    Servette also starting the second half with 2 chances, then one for Bellinzona. Servette is the better team, but Bellinzona is always dangerous and Servette has to be careful in defense. But Hope that Eudis, De Azevedo or one of the others can score for Servette

    Lustrinelli would be on a 2match ban since the St.Gallen match. Incredible the SFL still didn't treat Bellinzonas appeal

    anyway, allez Servette !!!

    On the way home from La Praille and happy of course. A crowd of 23000 vibrating and celebrating is rare in Geneva. Not comparable with any NT match here.

    3 goals after standards although there are no tall strikers at Servette ;-)

    Servette was the best team in CL and deserved to move up

    23k is a great crowd. That is awesome that Servette won. Now the question is how to maintain this momentum, and improve the squad. I will wear my Servette jersey prouldy tomorrow!

    The squad already has Superleague level, but a few positions will have to be doubled or need improvement

    GK:
    Gonzalez David -> first team
    Da Silva Fabio André, Novelle Loic -> ask the GK coach

    -> keep Gonzalez, new second goalkeeper (for example Ferro)

    Mendes Pendro -> first team or replaced if he returns to Sporting
    Ruefli Vincent -> first team
    Schneider Jérôme -> (first team or) sub
    Baumann Patrik -> first team
    Routis Christopher -> first team or sub
    Moubandje Jacques Francois -> first team or sub
    Maric Oliver -> sub or replaced
    Schlauri Christian -> sub or replaced
    Guedes Christophe -> dunno

    Nater Stéphane -> first team
    Kouassi Laglais Xavier -> first team
    Pont Tibert -> sub
    Pizzinat Lionel -> sub, but keep for sure
    Moutinho Thierry -> first team potential, but has to prove it. Should be kept anyway

    De Azevedo Antonio Marcos -> first team
    Camara Lassana -> scored with Portuguese U-19 vs Germany yesterday. Surely will return to Benfica and be loaned out again -> replace
    Carneiro André Tiago (André Soares) > similar as Sana, but less potential
    Esteban Julian -> first team
    Vitkieviez Matias -> first team
    Silva Eudi (Eudis) -> first team or sub
    Karanovic Goran -> sub
    Mobulu Mfuti -> sub
    Varela Carlos -> sub

    so, imo all these players can play in the Superleague. Sana, Soares and Mendes probably return to Portugal. We have an excellent freekicker in De Azevedo and are also great on corners. But in attack, the players are not the tallest. For Sana and Soares only one replacement is needed (as Varela already was added) and maybe a player which has good headers and physical presence to use even more the set pieces qualities in the team. In defense, Mendes was a fix starter before his injury. The others all replaced him well. There too, I would like to see a guy which is quite tall, but still good on passing as a replacement. However, would like to keep Mendes.

    What can be expected is an even deeper collaboration with Benfica Lisbon as Pishyar has bought their other partner club, Beira Mar. So, basically Pishyar can chose which players he wants to have on loan at Beira Mar and which at Servette.

    My little fear about this is which one does he care more about? Beira Mar or Servette?

    Nice analysis of the players and I agree on most of them. I would love to see two things happen, a commitment to strengthening the team, adding some height to the front line, and quality reserves. The second would be to make sure that the Servette youth teams become the place to play for the youth players in Vaud and Geneve. Carrouge, Nyon, Meyrin, and CS Chenois are nice clubs, but Servette need to make sure that the youth players are going to them.

    he lives in Geneva, so he surely is looking after Servette and he wants to win the title within 3 years ;-)

    Beira Mar cannot be more then a second line club in Portugal . The difference with the top3 teams is too big.

    in Switzerland, he can approach the top3 much more easily

    and he was so happy and excited yesterday evening that I'm sure he is looking after Servette

    besides, Tozé Marreco is still under contract with Servette while M'Futis contract expires, so maybe MFutis contract should not be renewed or Servette could get a tall striker instead

    for other players, what about F.Frei? and is hot prospect Kevin Mbabu signing for Arsenal??

    FC Lugano 52
    FC Vaduz 51
    FC Lausanne-Sport 44
    Servette FC 38

    after 30 rounds
    Lausanne 65 (+21)
    Servette 62 (+24)
    Lugano 62 (+10)
    Vaduz 60 (+9)

    I thought that F. Frei belonged to FC Basel and that he was loaned out the FCSG. He is too good of a player to be in the DCL. Come on over, but that really does not address the taller forward for Servette.

    In other news:
    FC Baden upset FC Meyrin in the playoffs. Meyrin was the heavy favorite to be promoted. Etoile Carouge did advance along with ES FC Mally - SC Bruhl. With ever sides get promoted, they will have a difficult time staying up with 6 teams being relegated to the 1st Pro league in 2012-2013.

    yes, F.Frei belongs to Basel and Hochstrasser belongs to YB, but in both cases it's unsure whether they will return to their teams. Frei had not a good season, but Basel might lose Stocker on a transfer to Bundesliga. Hochstrasser might imagine returning to YB as Petkovic is not there any more. However, he has Italian clubs interested in him

    to finish this thread with Servette as we should change to SL/CL 2011-2012... J.Alves was only offered half of the salary first for next season in the SL. Think the chair was a bit jealous of the honors the coach got compared to himself

    now, they should and have to find a correct agreement and apparently J.Alves aksed the chair to contract Nuno Gomes

    If they were promoted, it will keep one the largest media markets in the DCL. Meyrin choked, Carouge can do it.

    Carouge (w. Mieville and Roth) made it. So dit Brühl (with Zellweger and De Freitas). Malley had not enough arguments. Tough, Hélin would rather deserve to play in Superleague than in the 1st amateur league.
