I count 12 games in HD. Nice!

Any idea if Fox Sports West/Prime Ticket is going to air any of the games in HD?

Oh great, more Sunday Telefutura-only broadcasts . . . (puke) At least the LAG@DC on June 29 will be broadcast by ABC - an interesting development, although its an early one (9AM) for youze on the West Coast.

Of the four teams we play three times (SJ, Chivas, Colorado, Dallas), Chivas and Colorado are 2x at home and Dallas and SJ are 2x away.

They haven't released any info. They need to at least do our home games in HD in my opinion. I love the schedule though, I am only going to miss 2 games if all goes as planned.

2 times @ Dallas is great for me. Those two plus the charity match means I'll get to see the G's at least three times.

Thank god we only play Chivas 3x this year. Those games seemed to pop up every other weekend last year.

Best part of the whole thing is we only have two away matches in a row so no legnthy periods on the road in 08 hopefully that works out for us

That's because ABC is doing a double-header--a marquee MLS game featuring Beckham, leading into the Euro 2008 final.

Well, no excuses this year. Balanced schedule with no fixture congestion and the whole team together from the start of pre-season....

Great find. Does anyone know when we will be able to buy single tickets to games?

"Single-game tickets, including tickets for MLS Cup 2008 on November 23, are expected to go on sale to the public in late February or early March, after the league’s schedule is released. Watch this space for more information when available!"

One thing that jumps out at me is the kinder gentler schedule from MLS this year. After each Thursday game we don't play for another 10 days (or in one case back to back TH games). We do have a couple Sunday followed by Friday/Saturday followed byThursday weeks which still give us five day turnarounds. This is way too fair. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Of course we will have the quick turnaround after the All-Star game where we play the Sunday after the Thursday A/S match. Any word on who the MLS All-Stars might play? I like playing a foreign team. I also love that the game is on a week night.

The schedule is actually pretty favorable. We only play two tough teams in the last two months headed into the playoffs, DCU at home, who will coming off a home game against the smurfs. Houston away as the second to the last game, who will be coming off a home game against DCU.

There really isn't a whole lot of back to back to back games like the back half of last season.

The home games should be broadcast on FSNW correct? They don't show that yet on the TV Schedule

Yes. Right now they are only showing national tv coverage. Later on, they'll add the local tv coverage to the listing.

I'm always at the home games so I guess I don't care what the TV coverage is for those, but I counted SEVEN road games in HD! (@ Col, HDNet, @ DCU, ABC, @ CHV, ESPN2, @ Fire, ESPN2, @ NE, HDNet, @ Wiz, HDNet, and @ Crew, HDNet. I am one of the people who actually gets HDNet.) That means I'll only have to watch eight games all season in low-def TV. A great development!

Thanks, that's what I thought. Well, I would be at all the home games but I'm poor and live in Palmdale, so ST are out of the question. I do have HDnet however.

Same here, I'll miss 2 games. I just like recording them in HD and rewatching them later in case I was too drunk to remember anything at the game.

Yeah I always record the home games even though I go to them just to watch anything I missed.

Great looking schedule, especially for me, as I'm going to college in the fall. Won't miss too many games at all and I'm sure I'll come down for the playoff games.

Actually, there is one, the poster just forgot it. We play the Revs at home on the 4th.

EDIT: Now that I look at it, the posted schedule is wrong, especially for some dates in the summer. For the actual one go here: http://la.galaxy.mlsnet.com/schedule/season.jsp?team=t106
