Wednesday Kansas City @ Salt Lake-14,015 God bless you SLC fans. Saturday Chicago @ New York-16,000 I'm counting on the Blanco effect. DC United @ Dallas-15,839 Kansas City @ Houston-16,472 Salt Lake @ Los Angeles-27,000 See. If we had relegation, this would be a game of unparalled orgasmic interest. Fans would be soiling themselves with the excitement of possible relegation. 27K wouldn't hold all the fans wanting to be at the HDC. The media frenzy would rival Beckham's Chelsea game. ESPN would move their WNBA playoff game to ESPNU so they could televise this classic. But no, we don't have relegation. We are simply letting this opportunity get away. First, the league bungles Beckham....now, this. Alexi? Is that you? Sunday Colorado @ Colombus-12,173

Well, if we had relegation, TFC would be in position to get relegated. That would be terrible for the league. Their attendance is so good. Most teams in MLS could only dream about getting sellouts every game.

Just to clarify: my post re relegation was dripping with sarcasm.... and yes, it would be a shame to lose the Toronto experience.
Which is why MLS will never have relegation. The possibility of sending an expansion team in a new SSS to a lower league would scare investors away.
11,712 at RSL (They play there best game of the year and get there worst attendance in frachise history)
Looks like a really nice crowd in New York. Obviously there is some Blanco effect, but is there maybe some lingering positive results from the Galaxy game? I'd love for this team to take hold in that city.
