Ok, this is going to be the main thread for the 2006 WCQ prediction contest. Mods - if you can make this a sticky and a closed thread that would be great, thanks!

I will post the scores of matches and have updates on the standings in this thread.

    *- Leads a region

72 matches were played in 2003 in the 2006 World Cup Qualifying Round. Almost 900 are going to be played total, so we're just getting started! I will double check these scores and if you think your score is wrong let me know! Good luck to everyone in 2004! Also, even if you are not on this list you can get in at any time! I will post the upcoming matches in another thread.

Hey, desertfox2 (whatever happened to desertfox1?), buddy, ya know ya can't win your own contest, eh?

So, if you are still on top in November 2005, the second placed gets the one week in New Jersey, and the third gets the two weeks in New Jersey, right?

For the bronze medal position, i'll throw in an inaugural season Edmonton Aviator's, A-League or W-League, teeshirt, sent to the winner by mail! Look everybody jockey for thurd now, eh?

For fourth place, I'm trying to get Blatter to send me an autographed copy of the Swiss Women's team's hotpantz. Keep posted on developments!

Well, I plan on winning it, but I'll let the second and third place players get the weeks in New Jersey ;-)...Plus I'm only up by 3 points and that's nothing, still over 800 matches to be played so it's anybody's game. Plus there will be six winners of the six regions too, not just overall. And I'll keep updating the standings!
