In chn's absence, here's a little info: "FC Beserkers of the Northern Virginia Soccer League will take on the Aegean Hawks of the Washington Premier League for the right to represent the MDCVSA in the Region I qualifying tournament." -- from the MDCVSA website. Anyone else care to dig up some more?
Or maybe I can. Took wandering through a few links on the New Jersey site, but: Semifinals: Date/Time: 11/14/2005 8:30pm Location: Ironbound Stadium Score: 4-2 Winner: SPORT CLUB PORT. Name: SPORT CLUB PORT. (no notes entered) Name: VISTULA (no notes entered) Date/Time: 11/13/2005 6:30pm Location: Ridge HS Score: 3-0 Winner: US PARMA Name: US PARMA (no notes entered) Name: KEARNY SCOTS (no notes entered) No info on the final for NJ, but it's between Sport Club Port. and US Parma.
And from here we have the Eastern New York results: Semifinal NY Pancyprians (H) 4 28-Oct NY Salamina 1 Final NYGA Atlas (H) 17-Nov NY Pancyprians Hm. Interesting. No results from that November game yet...
Also found what I believe are East Pennsylvania results on their state website. The top of the page says '2004-2005' but the match dates are this and last month. So, here's what it says: Quarter Finals 10/30/05 Phoenix Majors 3 Danubia 6 UGH Reserves 4 V/E 5 UGH Major 3 FC Downingtown 0 Semi-Finals 11/13/05 Ukrainian 5 Danubia 1 V/E 1 UGH Major 3 Final 12/04/05 Ukrainian UGH Major V/E is Vereinigung Erzgebirge. And UGH is United German Hungarians. Managed to track down both Ukranians and UGH's websites, but neither of them have the result.
Thanks for the info guys. I know that chn71 has been really super busy with his normal job and I bet he has been looking on, just hasn't posted yet. chn71. If you are reading this, contact me and olujosh a.s.a.p. about the site. Thanks
...well, I had this nice long post all written up. I was just about done with it when my damn Firefox crashed on me. I tracked the info down through the NJ Soccer Assn. website -- http://www.soccernjsa.com. If that doesn't get you there, try the Maryland State Soccer Assn. website. I can't remember that URL, but I know it comes up high in Google. They have a links page on their site with the NJSA website in it. I also, in recreating that process, found the results for the Champions League (that NYC area league) qualifiers... but it was at that very moment that my Firefox crashed. So if someone else could track that down? GIO? I know nothing about US Parma, but there might be something in the NJSA website. I saw a link for affiliated clubs/leagues before my browser crashed.
OK, so I was imagining things here. I did some searching but could only find a US Parma O-30 team in the O-30 league.
The results for the Champions League (that NYC area league) qualifiers. If you go to the NJ url above, go to the Cups link, and follow what should be a pretty obvious path, you should find a website that has results for both the NJ qualifiers and the CL qualifiers. I'm on a Mac and we're finding Firefox a bit flaky with the upgrade. Yeah, ain't tech just lovely sometimes
Champions League PA Shooting Stars lost to Santa Croce Santa Croce will play White Eagles (who had a bye) on an undertermined date for the CL place in Region I
And thanks for this as well! A page on their site says the game against Sport Club Portuguese on Dec. 4 was postponed. Haven't found any info on when the game is rescheduled for.
Region II info: I'm going to quote a paragraph in full from the Illinois website: My best guess is that the "Schwaben Over30..." part is for another tournament. Did some hunting for Schwaben and Lightning websites and didn't find anything. So I wouldn't say this is solid information yet.
Wisconsin: Semifinal - October 29: 2 Milwaukee Kickers 1 Bavarians Final - November 5: Croatian Eagles Milwaukee Kickers I got the result from the Bavarian's website. Looked around both the Croatian Eagles' website and the Kickers' website and couldn't find anything on the final.
California South: National Cup Draw January 27. Yeah, I suppose I could consolidate all this. But I'd rather post it when I find it.
Oregon entry deadline is Jan. 15. No info on the Utah website... but that's one snazzy site. Guess having an MLS team nearby has motivated the association a little.
Region III Tournament: Baton Rogue, LA May 27-30, 2006. Florida's deadline -- "Late January". Man, they're mellow down there.
Be sure you're firmly seated in your chair. They actually updated their website. Don't remember exactly where I found it. I'm not holding my breath that they'll give us info on the draw result until sometime around never. Same can't be said about Cal North. The association that includes Silicon Valley still has the most pathetic excuse of a website that exists in cyberspace.
Violet. I only found the NJSA's Open Cup Qualifying braket between S.C. Portugal Vs US Parma. I'm guessing NYC is the Cosmopolitan league. Give that a shot on the USASA website. www.usasa.com
From www.usparma.net: The Men's Premier Team will participate in the Disney Soccer Classic International Tournament conducted at the Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando. Tournament kicks-off on January 5, 2006. The AP on 1/3/2006 has the following story "Soccer kids, swingers party at same hotel" ORLANDO (AP) — Some teenage soccer players and their parents saw more sights than they wanted when they stayed at a hotel where about 200 swingers were having a New Year's party. --> http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2006-01-03-hotel-party_x.htm Maybe this will add some sizzle to the USOC
