But with players as gifted as Harry Kewell Brett Emerton Vince Grella Marco Bresciana and Mark Viduka in our squad, you would be a total fool to write us off. Unlike other countries who will see this tourament as a chore, we will see it as not only an honour, but a chance not only for much-needed match practice at the highest level, but a chance to gain respect from the people we need it from most, the discerning European football public (who would be thinking, "Since when did they play football in Australia?")
