HT - ********ing appalling Boro. Not one decent shot on goal even...

The only one showing a bit of passion is Queudrue.

The rest of them look like they couldn't give a shit. Downing is not even taking on players. Too slow and no support up front. We have no attack and can't pass the ball.

I've been watching your game, whilst reading the drivel on our board from this morning.

Pretty poor game from the Boro eh?

....and as i say that Hildebrant thinks he's an outfield player :)

I'm a big fan of Timo's - but he's getting a touch of the Barthez about him.

We need to hit them on the break - they are really going for it, and credit to them. Much better 2nd half, but still quite poor from our pov.

    Mendieta has been very *blergh*

Why on earth didn't we sacrifice him for another striker?

    What a joke McClaren.

    What attack? :p

Looks like Mcclaren had all intentions of making the away goals stand up.

    Working so far though.

What a joke. Cattermole gets booked for nothing. Bit of enthuasiasm, which we have been sorely lacking.

    Indeed. What attack???

Its a complete tactical joke by McClaren. Unlucky to Stuttgart, but on the course of the two legs the football - the quality has been piss poor.

We lost, but won at the same time. If you know what I mean?

McClaren is still a dunce and favours the dour defensive approach.

Let's go with the sig, down some paint-stripper strength vodka and shout a hearty call of....

    Хуй вам!!!

Well, when I said 'results', I was referring to the tie as a whole, not the game by itself.

You're through to the next round.

McClaren won't be going anywhere, anytime soon, I would imagine.

Let's hope that no-one pinches Mowbray before we do...

Well done (I suppose) to Boro. We didn't particularly deserve to go through. I thought Stuttgart were a better side on both halves of the tie, but i'm not going to complain that we got through. Anyone from teesside planning on going to Roma?

    Might do.

But I'm skint at the minute. I honestly thought that the Stuttgart game will be our last jaunt in Europe.

I've just spent my money on a new TV, plus I have to save for 2 holidays in the summer. :(

    WBA 0-2 Boro.

Even with ten-man, West Brom caused us more problems...

    I jes don't get it...

    Again, another counter-attacking defensive display.

    Yeah, it wasn't the best. Bit cagey and scrappy and times and our defence were put under heavy pressure at times. But these games just require one thing;

    The 3 points.

    And we got em... :)

Nice little goal from Viduka, a clean sheet and an FA Cup Quarter Final and UEFA Cup match agains Roma to look forward to. :)

    Talk about a cheeky penalty...:)

He would have got slated for that if the keeper had went the right way.

I liked the look of young Cattermole.I reckon he'll turn out to be a very good player for 'Boro.

    Indeed.

Let's hope Adam Johnson who also looks like a good prospect gets some running time between now and the end of the season.

Pretty odd, that in the 21st century and in the top flight, that Boro would field so many of their local lads in the team in the past couple of years.

Take note Wenger and other shady foreign characters.
