Just giving this one a bump, even though it's second fiddle to the Final itself. Adding my reasoning behind 2-1 to Ajax - I had thought maybe 2-0 since Ajax showed that they had a way of doing well against Milan in the era concerned and Milan's motivation might not be high having lost the semi, while their fans would be largely travelling to watch the 89-90 team play the Final! I do think though, with Ajax also not 100% focused/determined, that Milan's attack can carve out a chance that gets taken maybe for a consolation goal if I'm calling it (in effect even if they had another couple of flurries towards the Ajax goal afterwards). Generally, consistency wise especially, Milan were actually a bit more free-scoring in 94-95 than 93-94 and despite Ajax's seemingly light defence in numbers their teamwork and understanding could well lead to them having good possession but also doing well in terms of snuffing out Milan moves. I'll say Litmanen heads home from a Finidi cross, and then Ronald de Boer plays Kluivert in to double the lead after controlling on his thigh. Boban, Albertini and Savicevic combining to play in Donadoni for the consolation goal in the inside left channel.
