I was reading this article http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&cid=544&u=/ap/20030911/ap_on_go_pr_wh/bush_20&printer=1 when I ran across this quote from Bush: "More than 260 suspected terrorists have been charged in the United States courts; more than 140 have already been convicted." We've convicted 140 terrorists? What did they do?What were they guilty of? Have I missed something?
Aren't they being tried in, essentially, secret tribunals? I don't think this is something the media really has access to. Or am I confused about the role of the secret tribunals?
