    Agreed.
For the record, I never thought DMB was that bad at crossing the ball, but it was never as good as say Eddie Lewis... so was something for people to pick on and say needs work.

I think he's worked hard at PSV and his game has raised a level (in my eyes) since his transfer.

i thought i saw it before, but now i see DMB definitely limping a bit - still, he holds his own in a tough battle near MF

DMB helps psv out of some pressure from a CK, sending vonlanthen off to the races - he gallops 60M before fafiani trips him up, DMB to serve long... sibon heads low, but boschker has it comfortably

psv come again and sibon tries boschker from 22M, saved low again

Subbed of as a sub. Hopefully a minor injury. That's usually never good.

    Blind squirrel theory..

Hell, even Brian West and Frankie Hejduk can whip a cross in every now and then..

From the official PSV website (English side)...
    http://english.psv.nl/show?id=21372&contentid=7743

Hiddink took off substitute Beasley in the closing stages "He picked up a knock just above his ankle and that’s why I took him off. Farfán has a slight shoulder injury and Gomes is troubled by a sore thumb. But I think that they will be available for the next game, now that we can rest them for one week."

So it was enough to take him off so he didn't hurt it worse... but they think he'll be fine by next week.

Sometime i realize how lucky DMB is, playing with the likes of Cocu, the former Barcelona & Dutch captain and head to head with Tiery Henry and some other big boys in euro championship ! ... i hope Dono will experience what DMB has in the near future...

Is it a cross or a free kick? Small difference but significant. One comes from the flow of the game with close defending (which Beasley struggles with) and the other gets lined up taking one's time with a 10 yard cushion. (He never took these for Chicago or MNT but takes a few for PSV; go figure)

It was a free kick (the link posted above has the videoclip to Cocu's goal) so he had enough time to make it a good one. ;)

And I don't think the PSV-crowd will notice bad crosses from Beasley at the moment, most of us are still recovering from years of Rommedahl-crosses.
