    Huh
    Conor Casey ?

How has Casey been doing? I tried putting something from the KSC site through google.

Conor Casey auf die Bank. It means Conor Casey on the bank. What does that mean on the bank. Did he actually play this game? How is his play?

    Huh
    Conor Casey ?

Any word on why he did not play? In the begining of the year the coach expressed alot of confidence in him. Is he hurt?

    Re: Conor Casey ?

He just made not enough goals for them(2 in 1 game) and played just not good enough(kicker rating 4,00), so the coach decided to let Cetin play who is one of the best technical players at KSC. Maybe Casey will start today again, cause Cetin wasn´t much better than him.

KSC won 2:0 by two late goals in the 87th and 90th minute. Casey made the second through a counter attack. The first goal was made by Christian Hassa. Casey set the goal off with a pass to Männer who was the assistent for the goal.

So did Casey set up the through ball on the second, or did he set up the first and scored the second?

Either way. Excellent. Can he play in the Olympics this time around? ;) (You know, now that he's had four extra years to improve)

He sad up the first (also a counter attack).
The rest of the game he dissappeared completly, like the most of his teammates.

So soccerfreak #1, do you think Conor has any potential?
Is he destined for greater things or stuck where he is in the Regional Liga?

You do realize he is on loan to Karlsruher from Borussia Dortmund right?

Secondly, he's not in the regionalliga...he's in 2 Bundesliga...and they are currently in 5th, a few points out from promotion to the BL 1

Yes I knew he was on loan from Borussia. I obviously thought KSC (easier than spelling) was regionalliga. Still I believe this is his last year under contract with Borussia. What does his future hold? More time in the 2 Bund, signing with another club or back to the U.S.?

    You mean 2.Bundesliga, right?

I don´t know cause he still hasn´t proven that he has the class right now. Even the some of the best strikers of the last season got now their problem in the first league, like Frommer, Voronin(Ukrainian international), Ebbers or Scherz. If he doesn´t score at least 14/15 goals there won´t be a lot of interest by a first league side in him.

Now he has 3 goals in 11 games he played(and started). If he finaly solved his lack of form and shows the same strength he had at Hannover in 2001/2002 he may get a chance.

He's having a good year, but I'm hard pressed to believe he can break into Dortmund anytime soon. I think he'll have to prove himself in the Olypics to get a shot at the WCQ side, too.

I don't think so. With all the young and up and coming talent, his time has passed.

Players like Casey, Buddle, Twellman or someone we haven't even thought of will take the torch.

When mom and dad are paying your way, it's easy to correct those of us who have to juggle life and following the beautiful game. But if mom and dad are paying your way, and you're in a correcting mood, at least do it right.
