To be honest, if we come out of this game with a point i think we'll be doing well. They're at the end of their season, on top form and playing at home. We travelled yesterday, long trip after a game, little rest and facing a quite decent team. 1-1.
on sky sports news today they had the story of the team takeing in the sights in mosscow.john terry the nutter was out in shorts and sandels, & joe cole buying a disposeable camera off some street vender.very weird
Bummer for him - I bet he has been looking forward to this match since it was announced being the Russian captain and all. Hopefully he can at least see a few minutes as a sub.
Come now, Moscow's a nice city. Although I certainly wouldn't walk around in shorts in November...........
More talk of squad rotation today, so Johnson, J Cole, Scotty parker & the big man they call Huuuuuth...all have a shot for the starting XI i think. i say it'll be a win, a loss or a draw (1-1, 2-2 or 3-3 most likely) or the game will be abandoned after CSKA "fans" throw a Horse carcass on the pitch (they are called the Horses after all). there. my ass is covered for all eventualities.
he was signing a few autograph's & the locals were looking bemused by the whole spectacle they also had footage of jose walking through red square looking as proud as punch could be,it was quite funny, but still a very weird report, lol
Line Up: Petr Cech 1 William Gallas 13 Glen Johnson 2 Alberto Ricardo Carvalho 6 John Terry 26 Damien Duff 11 Frank Lampard 8 Claude Makelele 4 Scott Parker 19 Eidur Gudjohnsen 22 Arjen Robben 16
So it looks like we're playing for the counter. I'd love to actually see what Robben and Duff do for a whole game playing off an in form Eidur.
