Doesn't sound all that great for us - Johnson came close to giving a way a penalty, and got booked for his efforts. Why isn't he in midfield instead of Ferreira?

Tiago and Joe Cole both having very quiet games and both on yellows, take 'em off and put Lampard and Robben on at some point in the second half? Johnson at RM and Ferriera at RB
I haven't heard Duff's name mentioned, and Tiago seems to be having a poor game. Cole supposedly lucky not to be carded for throwing the ball away.
Agreed - Seond half team should (might) look like this I think ------------Parker--------- Johnson----Lampard----Duff ------Robben----Kezman Still, despite all the changes to the team tonight, we still defend fairly well.
our passing's been dreadfull so far,the front men are hardly even getting a touch with most of the play in newcastles favour so far.carlo made a great save to deny bernard there late on but our best chance was johnson hoofing the ball wide when kezman and duff were crying out for him to square the ball once he got into the box. hopefully we can get hold of the ball a bit better in the second half and create a chance or two,and yeah with three of the lads on yellows try not to get someone sent off.
Well not had time to read what has been said already before 2nd half, but I think this looks like the Chelsea of earlier in the season. Cole off and Robben on please. Also I would swap Ferrier and Johnson if not change them.
Sounds like Duff is coming off for Robben, which is curious given Cole's antics. Parker's having a good game, Tiago's invisible.
fell we have another 30mins at least before the possibility of penos.it really opened up there in the second half in terms of chances.carlo again pulling off a great save from roberts free kick,and he must have seen that ball pretty late,but tiago.......aaagggghhhhhh,how the hell did he miss that.he had done all the hard work already. anyway extra time awaits........
Yes it was easier for Tiago to score then miss, ah well. We look better now Robben is on. Johnson seems to have settled down after a shakey start. Parker has played very well. All to play for.
