There are many examples of promising players that didn't make it.

But Niemeyer is solid, I think he'll be the long-term successor to Baumann.

I have to agree, Niemeyer is pretty good, I've seen him play.

The only professional club he's ever played for is Twente, he joined our youth development programme when he was 14 I think.

Like I said, I hope he does well for you and wish him all the best.

There are rumors in Germany that Werder Bremen wants sign John Carew from Lyon during the winterbreak. Manager Klaus Allofs already announced that he is an option Werder is thinking of. What do you think?

He had trouble with Lyon coach Houllier.

I am also not sure about him,
    but he has international experience
and Lyon has a high standard in their squad.

    He is the anti-Klose IMHO.

Got immense potential, but is remarkably inefficient and always wasteful. I wouldn't get him. He is also a troublemaker.

ive only heard bad things about Carew....i wouldnt think Schaff would bring someone to Werder that is notoriously known for being a bad sport

I don't know if this has been mentioned but there's been a change of plan, Niemeyer's joining you straight away rather than at the end of the season. This means an extra half a million Euros for Twente.

Yeah EE is right, ranking the players like this is stupid because it's not like Loew has to start from scratch. He already has his striking team and he needs to decide who to pick that fits into any gap there is.

Yeah I forgot about schlaudraff too. He'd be somewhere behind gomez, hunt and helmes.

    I really rate helmes.

I hope bremen do sign him.

What is federico's background? err doesn't exactly sound german..giovanni federico...
