Yes, furthermore Poldi is a cash cow for Bayern.
Just look how many shirts are sold and
    the commercials he participate in.

Werder will sign a player, who can help the team and whose transfer fee and salary is good in comparison to his potential.
To get such players is difficult, especially strikers.

The management works on it, give them some time.
I am sure at the latest for the CL qualifiers a new name is presented.

Podolski doesn't want to leave Bayern anyhow.

That would surely be a new transfer record if they signed him. I don't think the rumor has anything to it, when looking at some transfer fees on the English market, I find I hard to believe Allofs is willing to spend so much money, when he can get much cheaper players, maybe not as good as Anelka but fairly close. But no doubt about he would be a great signing for Werder, it's just the price that's probably too high.

I can't see Anelka moving to Germany anyhow.

    Attention, Bremen folk.

The 3 German mods: myself, TOLH and BayernWake have decided to make another push to get you guys your own subforum. We will need to take this to the Forum request forum. HOWEVER, before we make a somewhat organized effort here (and PLEASE, let one of the mods start the thread in there), I would like to know what numbers we have here, in terms of Bremen fans, so I can use that in our post request. When we have some numbers here, then we will make our case.

so, sound off. And please, be a Bremen fan. I already know, footyfan, myself and others would be posting in there. :p

    I know we have

    Sting-ray
    Brandon313
    LebenslangGruenWeiss

    as some of our regulars

By the way, did the Werder-Nilmar link ever develop? Or was that just a rumor?

Just a rumour I think. Seems that Werder is very close on signing Sanogo. German media said today, that he was in Bremen today to clear last details. Werder will pay about 4,5 - 5 Mio € + success premium for the 24 years old Ivorian.

    @Dead Fingers,

Wonderful mate! Thanks for your effort! I would be definetly a constant member of the new Bremen subforum! :)

hey what is a new jersey +name/number +patch going for in Germany right now??

i would like to get the new shirt with Diego #10 and the Bundesliga patch, however, the only place other than the fan shop with them in stock is Subside sports, and that takes quite a while to get here and it would be over 110 bucks to have it shipped to me....im in the US.

I was just seeing if maybe the shirts were cheaper if you bought them at the official fanshop or something...if anyone wants to help me out, and pick me up a shirt, please let me know!

A little much, but this guy will do well for Werder. Just expect him to open things up more for Rosenberg, Hunt and Diego rather than scoring 15-20 himself. He'll probably score around 10 and assist a hell of a lot.

Does anyone know any details about Bremen's financial situation now that they signed Sanogo? Do we have any money left to sign another good player or are we pretty much set for the season now?

OMG, I just read that Frings is believed to have suffered a seriuos injury in the test-match against Paderborn.
Suspected knee ligament rupture = gone for 6 month.

The German Werder board is already down.

I hope it's not that bad.
