My computer is terrible and its very hard for me to get on the internet. So I've been relying on the FSW report and Sky Sports News to bring me all the news about Everton this year. Seems like we're struggling a bit, hopefully thats going to change today. I too am suprised there is no McFadden out there. And thanks for the updates Tree.

    Never!

Yeah, so we were scoreless vs. Southampton, I saw those highlights, scoreless today against Villa, and scoreless against . . . . ? Again, I've been isolated from the internet lately so it makes it very hard to follow.

The team's not doing very well, and it seems we badly badly badly need that holding midfielder. As I saw one of you post in another thread, Torrado, Reyna or Davis would have made a huge difference.

The other thing I don't understand is why Moyes is playing McFadden in a wide left position in the previous games, although he didn't start today. The team needs goals and McFadden should get his chance. Why not play something like this in midfield and up top:

    ----------Watson----Gravesen----Kilbane---------

    ---------------------Rooney----------------------

    --------------Ferguson------McFadden-----------

Watson has probably been the best player this season so far from what I've seen in a couple games, and highlights, etc., so unless he was injured, I have no clue why he didn't play today.

    McFadden isnt a striker ryan...

Watson and Radz must have had knocks as you said...otherwise I can see no reason why they didnt even make the subs bench...

The third game in which we didnt score was when we got thumped at WHL 0-3 by Sperzzz

we need a fix quickly...we have Chelsea next...it could get ugly

Wow, do I feel dumb. After everyone had raved about his goalscoring record in Scotland, I assumed that he played as a striker.

I think maybe you misread something. As far I know McFadden led the SPL in a few OPTA stats such as "dribbling" and "pass completion %". In fact, i believe he led the entire world in one of them...the kid has great ball skills.

Now if Moyes would just play him...

    he did :)

mcfadden usually played as an out-and-out striker for Motherwell in Scotland.

he's tended to play left-wing for everton purely cos of our lack of an decent player to fit in there...sorry, kilbane. mcfadden's a versatile lad, he can play a variety of positions.

radzinski had a little calf strain, which he's over now. he's fit and ready for selection

watson was out with a hernia injury. they operated on the weekend and so it's likely he'll be out for 6 weeks...

what the hell are we gonna do on the right-wing?

He did, he can play just about any attacking position on the park and his record is something like 33 goals in 60 or 70 games for one of the worst teams going, let him run at defenders and he usually skins them, I was so disappointed we didnt even put in a hard bid for him.
