In the starting XI... I guess the new taxi driver coach is giving everyone a fresh start. Hope this is a permanent role for him. The Jupiler league is becoming new home for young american defenders.

    Player of the week

From my homie in Begluim and a supporter of RAFC.

"Alexander Yi played very well. He was one of our better players in that match. We couldn't see any mistake from him. Good position play, nice tackels and strong with his head."

He added that he should start this week against Lierse. We'll see. Think about it, if both Yi and Onyewu both starts consistently in Begluim, we're giving a great boost in defense for our U-23 team and US senior team.

Anyway, here's a link for Jupiler's league player of the week.

Let's get out boy that award!

Any word on where Yi played? I know he had been tried at d-mid and right back though his best position is center back in a 4-4-2 or right marking back in a 3-5-2.

Regardless, good to here he played well. Hopefully hartbeeat's buddy's opinion is shared by the cabbie.

I'm not really sure. I'll ask my friend.
