Could we see a Gio sub for Rues? He’s been off this game.

Playing right wing. Had good theough ball on overlap of Hakimi. Otherwise quiet but only been a few minutes.

Haaland with a Hatrici in under 15 min.
Reyna a part of build up with a good touch and pass inside own half. Then good through ball from Reus I think haaland great finish.

Our boy started that break for the game-clinching goal. Intercepted the pass deep, good first touch, evaded, and outletted to a teammate to get out before Augsburg could react. Also made a trailing run to occupy. Poise in the debut.

Nice work from Gio to be a part of the build up. And, of course, he gets to be first over to celebrate. That’s important. He looked more excited than Haaland

I think Reyna has been pretty sharp. Nothing amazing on his part, but he's gotten on the ball, had assured, confident control, and made quick, useful passes.

Good stuff. No goal but he had some good off the ball movement. He obviously needs more play time and work within the main squad as he didn’t look completely melded in.

Totally looked like he belongs. I think with some more minutes he'll feel more comfortable and be more aggressive in his passing and dribbling.

I'm thinking that possibility of a few minutes in the second half of the season just jumped to "anything is possible". At home with the first team in an away game and fully embraced by his teammates again, quite surreal. Btw, he was in position to score had Haaland caused a rebound. That would have tipped the earth in it's axis.

He seemed to play right wing in the middle of the field and then more center in final third.
