I recently saw most of the Man Utd/Liverpool game and it seemed to me that Saha was out of position quite a bit and wasn't able to use his quickness effectively. Has anyone else noticed this?

Well, it was his first game back in quite some time. I'd give him at least a couple of matches to find his legs again.

Good point. He was still markedly quicker than the opposing players.

He did come on for Giggs so he was playing away from his natural position... his natural aim to get central pinched him in a bit and he was actually useful in funneling the ball to Rooney.

I think Ferris was talking about the LFC game.
I too do not think that he had a good game at Anfield.
But Saha did have an assist to Rooney for his late goal against Exeter on Wed.
He seems to be fit again. Let us see how he does tomorrow.
Since Alan is out again, we need Saha to have a good game against Villa.
A goal will be great for his confidence.

He really should've adhered to the old adage...."when in doubt, knock it out."

That is a quality own goal... I cannot say that I've seen one taken with more aplomb... :D
