Well, it only made since that we have a dedicated Injury Thread, since we will be spending more time talking injuries then actual soccer......allow me to start us off! Emre and Babayaro won't be ready for opening day! http://nufcblog.com/if-only-babayaro-and-emre-could-remain-fit/
If only Babayaro could be injured all season, more like. At any rate, these two won't be out there against Bolton, but Rozehnal hopes to be even though he's on the walking wounded list. So that means that, for those scoring at home, Taylor, Given, Barton, Emre, Babayaro, Luque, Owen, Butt and Rozehnal have all been injured at one point or another so far. And we haven't even started the campaign.
I found these quotes in this article. Is Sam saying that our players aren't fit enough for a two-a-days? Every highschool football player in the US can do 2 or 3-a-days in the fall and our professionals can't. That is pathetic.

Trio back in training The world's three most injury prone players are back on the pitch doing light training today.
I just read Dyer has broken his leg. Lucky for the Toon, unlucky for Eggs and Hammers. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/w/west_ham_utd/6967762.stm Is there a clause in his transfer agreement where his value changes upon injury? Will Newcastle have to re-pay West Ham some of the transfer fee?
It looks like Barton is on his way, but won't be back in the next few weeks. BSA is already saying the choice for places is tough, Barton coming back will only make it tougher, but what a great problem to have! Barton progress report: http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10278~1111151,00.html
Woodgate played in 37 of 128 games for the club. How many games have Emre/Owen been on the team but unavailable for? Thx, Jay!
There's no escape clause until the summer. Hopefully he gets the op and is healthy then, otherwise we're going to have Viduka, Ameobi and Smith as our only recognized strikers during ACN.
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/article2532010.ece Op set for Friday. Going to Germany for the same procedure Big Al had. He'll go to Russia with England, I'm sure, and comeback with some other crock.
