    Seven of the starting 11 for the US either play in MLS (Donovan and Clark) or got their careers started in MLS (T-Ho, Boca, Dempsey, Bradley, and Altidore). Not to mention two of the three subs (Casey and Johnny B.). A great statement for the league, IMO.

    I wasn't even born then, but to me this matters more to US and how far has the game progressed in the USA. Too bad the local media didn't even give the score, they were too busy with baseball.
