The San Jac kid looked pretty good-I want to see more. Sherrod probably should have done better on the first chance, he went around the goalie and a defender cleared it off the line. But I'll give him a pass on that, as that was a pretty gutsy clearance by the kid. He looked good on his first goal. And can we stop the Bruin hate (you know who you are)-this ain't baseball so quit giving me in game shooting pcts (Ponce and Levy).

Cascio's pass to Bruin was beautiful. He set Bruin up perfectly. Alex looked good, but he always does to me. From what I see, he fights hard, wins the ball, then quickly passes it on. He never seems to keep the ball long but his passes are always sharp, forward, and he never gives the ball away cheaply. Something I noticed that made me laugh that I've never noticed before....the guys were shouting at Boni in Spanish. Short little words, but in Spanish.
I was wondering, where was Corey? Off the top of my head, he's the only player I didn't see there. On the Academy side, I was sorry Christian Lucatero didn't play, I like how he plays, he's fun to watch. I think he was there but not dressed. Ok, I just saw he had a strained hip flexor. Luca, not Corey...
I thought the Academy boys played them well especially in the first half. I talked about Salazar looking out of shape and he was out of shape but he was also very good. I don't think he made a mistake when he was in.
It was a nice kick, but do you think they were mixed up about who was going to take it or was it just a very, very good fake? They were laughing about it after the kick.
