I thought allocation order only applied to returning US citizen players. Najar is Honduran and plays for its national team.
From MLS's allocation process page: "The Allocation Process is the mechanism used to determine which MLS Club has first priority to acquire a player listed on the Allocation Ranking List (see below). The list will consist of (i) select U.S. Men’s National Team players, (ii) elite youth U.S. National Team players, or (iii) former MLS players returning to MLS after joining a non-MLS club for a transfer fee greater than $500,000." Najar clearly meets option iii of that list, and he's also listed on the players eligible for going through the allocation order to rejoin MLS. Alain Rochat is on there, too, and Chris Durkin should be next time they update. https://www.mlssoccer.com/allocation
The bias and theft isn't even subtle anymore. This means I have to split my Galaxy hate between 2 LA teams.
It seems like MLS allocation rules change often. Just keeping them updated on MLS websites is probably a full-time job.
The Wayback Machine shows Najar on the MLS Allocation list as far back as 2015. So I think the outrage here might be a little misplaced.
My outrage is never misplaced. If the rules had arranged that he went to the Crew, Colorado or Montreal you'd see no outrage here.
Maybe you should blame Nashville for trading their #1 allocation order spot to LAFC more than MLS, then!
That's okay. He will likely be injured shortly after his debut. If he stays healthy then I would bitch.
Hey, my son lives in Nashville and even has season tickets (for whenever there's a season). Direct your rage elsewhere (Cincinnati?}
Have season ticket holders been getting email communications from DCU? My brother and I have have engaged in an informal that has left me wondering if I'm getting the communications going to STHs.
Thanks, can you share his/her name? I think a phone call may work best. It's one of those things that needs explaining. I took over managing my brother;s tickets because he has health problems and can't stay on top of it. I had tickets but am now buying them through my brother's account because he's been a STH since 97. So while I'm in the system I'm actually now acting as my brother. It is a cluster f.... Maybe it would be better if I just cancelled all my credit cards and show up each game with $30 cash in my pocket.
Exactly of course it was an LA franchise that got him. LA and NYC must have the best teams, per Garbager.

They indicated the player wasn’t present at the stadium event. Does anyone remember who wasn’t there?
Somewhere I read Odoi Atsem, I hope it's not him bcs he already had cancer and that could be a real issue for him.
