Yea you've always said you were not high on him and now it looks like you're right, he's a flop. Congrats on being right :/
If he was to prefer MLS over a return to Mexico, I'd love to have him. Especially since my team will most likely lose their best mid.
Oh man, I hope this guy goes to another European team and not liga Mx or mls. He may not be great but he definitely can play somewhere else.
Left footed central midfielder with an above average passing range and the ability to score goals. Of course European teams would be interested in that. Whether or not it works out is a different story but man, some of yáll really fall short on even honestly assessing the strengths of any given Mexican player.
Wasnot a good sign as the coach rested 8 of the normal line up. I think Guti lacks what this coach wants for the type of play he's hired for, full trottle soccer with constant pressing the opponent.
Guti is pretty lazy and with him being out for a few months I’m sure he’s conditioning can’t be good right now.
They expected him to be good enough though. I don't think they rate current Guti at all. Plus Tigres has been looking for a Juninho replacement for a while, now they need Ayala's too. This has been the weakest defense they have had under Tuca in a long time. Just when Salcedo started playing good for them neither Meza nor Reyes have been good enough.
Guti was having a really good season when he left. PSV had put in a joke of an offer and even Garcés was outspokenly critical of it. After a few pretty good games PSV upped their offer. Don't know what his issue is, I honestly haven't watched PSV at all. He played in spurts, kind of like Chucky. Guess you just really can't get away with that in Europe.
Gutiérrez still out, didn't make the roster today vs. Utrecht. While we wait, how about some gift ideas for the holidays?
