Both Ecuador and Peru are inconsistent!!! Ecuador can't win away from home and Peru can't win at home.

Whatever happened to that poll? Can someone start a poll with all the groups so we can vote for the group of death?

    Bolivar 4 Santos 3

    So reiterate.....

And I will add, that the teams the loose the most points at HOME , will be eliminated. Yeah, that may seem obvious but seeing that other groups are way off balance, this will be the group that wont be.

    THus...

This is actually Santos first loss ever to a Bolivian team in Bolivia or Brazil.

They've played Bolivar once before in Libertadores and won.

I just wanted to leave an opinion before the grp defines the best 3!

I think is group SEVEN, because of the places they will travel to play....

to win away will be heroic.

DO YOU KNOW HOW TO RATE THREADS?

I'd also have to go with Group 7, because the teams are pretty even. Chivas won away at Cobreloa but didn't get the 3 points at home when Once Caldas visited. Once Caldas tied with San Lorenzo and we're waiting for the first leg of the San Lorenzo-Cobreloa. For what I've read the Once Caldas-Chivas was a very difficult game for both teams, and I'd say it will be the same for the rest. However, I'm still confident that my Chivas will go through, we have a team that is playing solidly and playing in the Jalisco (and hopefully also in the Azul) is not easy.

Good luck to all and may the best in the group go through (no bad refereeing, please!).

looks like Cobreloa finally got the defensive tactics straight, maybe at home they'll be more open.

So far so good in my predictions. I still think all home games will be won but the real test will be this thursday though.. LDU vs. Santos.

Everything is going as I predicted, everybody will keep winning their home games. Now, not only will it come down to who loses the most pts at home but also who scores the most goals at home... this will be without a doubt the tightest group of all.. hence my pick as the group of death.

It's still a tough call whether group 2 or group 7 is tougher.

Group 2 everybody wins at home with a lot of goals but by a small margin

Group 7 mostly ties, everybody has lost point at home.

As of right now both groups are up in the air.
