Well considering he is Italian that wouldn’t surprise me much. Just cause he said it a few days ago instead of a decade ago doesn’t take away the fact the man is right. The problem was adding the “you want to play in Napoli, quit your national selection” as if anyone’s real dream in life was playing for Napoli. Other than that, I get it.

Please tell who would watch laliga if it not for realmadrid and barcelone .
Barcelone would also have some levers next season and bubble would burst with some clubs going to close, also league and federation is so corrupt that even they would sell their sisters and mothers for money.

Here you go. Me making the exact same argument against Copa America as I just made against AFCON. Didn't take long to collect these either. Not in "your" Forum necessarily, but that's not the point (nice try). Booyakasha !!

Is there any chance of him damaging or even ruining his legacy after the way he’s currently behaving ?

Many United fans are tremendously disappointed at best !!

This is an insane price for Cucurella.

55 million pound fixed is around 65 million euros. With variables, it can get to 73.5 million euros.

Most expensive fullback in the history of the premier league and football globally. Masía product

I’d make a run at Chillwell, probably could get a reasonable fee and he’s only 25. But, he’s English. So there’s that.

we don’t have a back up LB, as the one we do have plays CB. And, I rate Chillwell higher than Mendy as an offensive player. And value, if we could get him for 25m half of wage Chelsea paid, it’s a good deal. But, it’s not going to happen, so moving on.

They need a bankable superstar to get the fans back to the stadium and to help them on other commercial means. It is liked LA FC getting Bale. They can buy several top players in their prime from the Brazilian league with the same or less money. They are probably just as good as Bale the hasbeen footballer, but they are not bankable stars. If I were running a MLS club, I would have done the same, but I won't do the same with Barcelona at this given moment. Lewandowski will bankrupt them again or at least slow down their rebuild process.

So he's not good enough for Chelsea who are trying to replace him but he's good enough for us over a player who's played and won the biggest titles with us?

Surely Lewandowski has taken into consideration that they'll vilify him in 2 years if he can't produce anymore, right?

When Puskas was coaching in Greece at Panathinaikos, the story goes that somebody told him one of his players was frequenting a nightclub and he went there himself. He sat quietly at a table, then allegedly approached him at his table and told him to drink up and have a good time because the next time he'll be throwing it up at training and he paid the guys next round of drinks.

Nowadays people would have their phones out the minute they see a star player. Parejo was out there stumbling like a fool and was on the internet looking like a drunk piece of trash.

Bundesliga starting with Bayern vs Frankfurt which is generally considered a good test for both teams and a solid look at Frankfurt for us ahead of the supercup next Wednesday.

At 35, he will know where he belongs in 2025. He is not Ronaldo.

Ronaldo is getting torched on social media and from the traditional news sources. His little summer escape completely backfired.

What did he expect? That attitude works only when you are at the top of your game. When the decline hits, people will torch you even harder, particularly considering the person he has been in the last 20 years or so. In fact, I'd argue the media has eagerly waited for this moment in his career to finally get the chance to annihilate him. Ugly, ugly end to a legendary career and it's all his doing.

This Cucurella transfer is absolutely shocking to me. A record fee for a left back.

This guy went for 15 million pound to Brighton just 11 months ago as a 23 year old. This guy has 1 appearance for Spain and has never played for a top side since he had 0 appearances with Barcelona.

Chelsea got robbed. What an overpay. Im old enough to remember when they said Tchouameni was an overpay.

I remember this kid .... totally average. Have no clue what happened to him. Either he improved a lot or EPL making him look like a star.

It's funny. Ronaldo is getting evicerated for leaving a game early but we were "unfair" on Bale when he was doing this weekly. Two faced as they come, these lot!
