It’s funny how people make assumptions about what other countries think of their own governments. They blindly love everything they do, and are so brainwashed/justified they will act like rabid animals against us. It’s only the US that acts like s**t all of the time. Good grief the ignorance on this US board is staggering when it comes to the world and soccer. Stunning.

What would do Wright better tonight: 1. Wondergoal 2. 90 min of all-around exceptional striker play w/o a goal

The '98 WC was played in France, good point. However, I believe the Iranians traveled to France in large numbers as I recall there seemed to be more of them than there were American fans.
Our boys. 🇺🇸— U.S. Soccer Men's National Team (@USMNT) June 15, 2022 Watching our locked on starters play on this pitch is going to make me sick
It's a little scary to think about, but maybe it's dried out since yesterday. Did look awful, though. Sheesh.
Well, mostly what was expected, and what I'd hoped for, especially after the news of Zimmerman's knock came out. I'd note Cannon at RB over Yedlin, for the 3rd time in these 4 matches. I was expecting Yedlin since Cannon started the last one. I think Cannon is ahead of Yedlin in Gregg's book ATM. Also note Aaronson in CM.
coming into this window gregg said he planned on working in some 3atb, which i can only assume is the unbalanced 3atb/back 4 look we saw (primarily against morocco). you may well be right (and greggs always been high on cannon), but i dont know that these minutes necessarily show cannon edging yedlin.
