https://www.cbs.com/shows/uefa-cham...eague-golazo-feed-ucl-group-stage-matchday-1/ For now... And now they switched it from that stream too. Horse shit.
is this why theres no gameday thread? but hey, maybe cbs just has the picture reversed and pulisics on the left where he belongs..
https://www.espn.com/soccer/chelsea...h-in-premier-league-squad-as-emergency-keeper Hah, I was waaay out in front on this one!
Anyone have any pure footballing reasons for why Pulisic is playing on the right? Like at all? Sincere question
There is a gameday thread apparently. https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/1...a-pulisic-starts.2112126/page-2#post-39042237
He isn't getting a ton of opportunities but he has made two perfect passes to Werner... one he was a step offsides on and the other at the end of the half he shanked. He was also wide open when Werner had his shot on goal earlier in the half but Werner didn't feed him. It seems like the whole offense is supposed to go thru Werner right now instead of CP. They need a way to make it more even.
I'm not crazy about how they have Dest playing so far (just in general). He receives the ball and stands stock still. I'll watch later.
I think it is because Lamps values Mount's right foot so much that he thinks eventually he will drive to the corner of the box and score on an inswinging ball to the far corner. Not nearly worth IMO since we have not seen it yet.
It's still better organized and more exciting than Chelsea and watching CP play RWB. I hope Chelsea loses to prompt Lampard to change things back to CP on the left where it was working, that and I hate Chelsea and it makes me happy when whenever they lose. I see a lot of comments about how Kai, Werner, Kante or whoever else is not playing well or whatever, Chelsea has some of the best players (outside of the back 5) in the world, this is not a player problem, it is bad management period.
