I am going and will be sitting with the Screaming Eagles. This summer I sat behind them and always had fun. But seeing that I'm about a 1000 miles away at school I haven't gone to any games since August. I'm skipping class on Monday, and will be walking around campus with a huge smile on my face all week! Let's go DC UNITED!!
I just booked my trip last night at 4:30 am -- We'll be in upper deck section 230... Haven't been going through all the threads, but is there a big tailgate planned?
suzanne and i will definitely be there...it's a dream come true for us LA fans that love United! see you guys there! Liz
Re: MLS Cup Travel Information - aka "The I'm Going To LA Thread" :: DC United Edition I so want to go to this game, but I have to pass. Big work crunch coming up.
Re: MLS Cup Travel Information - aka "The I'm Going To LA Thread" :: DC United Edition too bad you can get scholarships for stuff like this
Probably booked the same time I did. Two seats in Row PP section 230. Flying out of Denver Friday afternoon, returning very late Sunday. DC!
Wanted: Large steamer trunk Must accomodate an adult male and his slightly large 5 yr old. Willing persons to stow us away to LA next weekend. RMDad
i'm in sec 233. Moved to San Diego in July so i've had my tickets to MLS Cup for a week already. Just extra sweet that DC is in it. This is sweet because watching DC on Yahoos streaming video is a far cry from being at the stadium.
I thought last weeek was rough for not getting anything done at work. This week is gonna be even worse.
Re: MLS Cup Travel Information - aka "The I'm Going To LA Thread" :: DC United Edition well folks, its been a long time since I've logged in and posted here. cut off the internet at home for 9 months,, best thing I did. I actually used the phone to contact people...and met them face to face...what a concept... anyways, been a DC fan since the beginning of the league and its lonely here in LA, my galaxy friends dont get it and never will, I will be there for the game for sure and must have some beers with any and all DC fans coming from the capitol. please email me back at lanzamusic@netzero.net to make plans to meet. last time I met any of you was at the 98 final w/ chicago and I'd rather forget that game. KC is a worthy opponent but we'll win our fourth mls cup no doubt. the sat night bash in hollywood sounds real good too. anyone know what type of injury jaime had at the end of the game? is he gonna be ready for sunday? we need him...
Re: MLS Cup Travel Information - aka "The I'm Going To LA Thread" :: DC United Edition Mike, Is that the 2:30 flight on Saturday? - I hope so - it would be awesome to be on a flight full of DCU fans.
Re: MLS Cup Travel Information - aka "The I'm Going To LA Thread" :: DC United Edition Yep, same flight. That's four so far - you, Tim, my wife and me. Cool.
Re: MLS Cup Travel Information - aka "The I'm Going To LA Thread" :: DC United Edition are you guys selling tickets for the game?
Re: MLS Cup Travel Information - aka "The I'm Going To LA Thread" :: DC United Edition That's this thread: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=149050
Me and my KC lovin' roommate are making the trip. So when DC wins I'll be sure to make him available to the SEs and Barra Brava for taunting purposes.
Re: LaNorte Presente! We just booked 4 tixs to HDC. I am sure we'll be getting more Nortenos to join us. Aguante DC UNITED!!!
My 11 year old son and I are making the trip to be at HDC to see DCU lift the MLS Cup. I can not think of a better reason than attending the game for him to miss some school - especially after attending Saturday's PK shootout win over the Revs.
DAMN! I've got the means and motive, but not the opportunity; the only flights that get me to LA from Glasgow or Edinburgh, on the only day I can get there (day of match), get me there an hour into the game. Enjoy Mike; you deserve it.
