Peta isn't terrorists, but groups like Earth First have a history of burning things down. Paticulary at ski resorts.

ELF is another environmental group that gets its kicks from setting fire to SUVs. I don't think that monitoring some of these groups is a bad thing, but I wouldn't put PETA near the top of a priority list by any means.

I agree, but there are groups out there that are deserving of being surveyed, and some of them are not all that threatening. But again, they're really not that high priority.

 

I'm a member of Greenpeace so I expect to be on the no fly list sooner or later. Actually, I kind of was. Someone with a very similar name to mine is on the list and I had to get notarized copies of birth certificte/passport to 'prove' to the TSA clowns that I shouldn't keep getting flagged every time I checked in.

 

Hey, like the man in the photo said (um, the one with his shirt on): "To live outside the law you must be honest."

Come to think of it, maybe Bush should use that as his defense. It's better than anything else he's come up with.
