I have the GVPAT idiot and his cling ons on ignore and am tempted to put Wynalda on it as well. In my opinion Altidore should have been off the team a while ago. In any case rest assured that I was being sarcastic and acidic in my post. Klinsmann has a lot more going for him than Wynalda both on the field and on the sidelines and to criticize Klinsmann is laughable (from Wynalda) . In any case keep up the posts.
Spursfan. I was being totally sarcastic, I happen to agree with you 100%. I get tired of the constant accusation that they are second rate Americans. I'm a naturalized citizen myself and have been on the receiving end of xenophobia as a youngster. Personally I get tired of the red-neck saber rattling.
i have not discussed anything with him since. But GVPats talks as if he "knows" the story and posted that Sampson set the change up. AEG not Sampson set that up. Sampson and Sigi still talk to this day; heck they coached together under Bora and at UCLA. End!
In another GVPats specific case, I was at a local college match. Sigi Schmid had just been fired as the Galaxy HC and who should come to the match 1 month late?; Sigi. He came into the stands that were 10% filled and sat next to me and we talked futbol for two hours. I did not know him and he certainly did not know me.
No worries - i have no one on ignore. It is just that there are certain posters that must have the last word. GVPats is one. Dueteromny is another. When I saw both of them on this thread, I knew it was dead. In GVPats case, I posted 4 items. did he go after any of them. Of course only the items I clearly labeled opinion he went after. Whatever.
Don't waste time on GVPats. he represents himself as someone in the know. I know a lot about SoCal futbol and I know he does not have a clue when he writes something. It is all spin. Even when caught in an obvious falsehood, he spins his 'apology'. He is a very disagreeable person.
