You gotta see Claude's face right at the end after the clip of the goal ends. Its just for a second but you could see what he thinks of that goal. ".....pfffff". Loved it.

Also, David saying that it was one of the best moments of his "life" not career but LIFE. Thats saying something. Love that guy.

I just wanted to tell you that i tell people about your navy KISS philosophy all the time. We had some new residents joining up with us yesterday and i was suppose to introduce them to the ins and outs. I told them that i know somebody who was in the Navy and they had a saying, Keep It Simple Stupid. I made them write it down on their pads and what not. Ha ha ha ha ha.

I think they were pretty impressed.

The A's were lined up for a move south of Oakland to Fremont. But, the city's population voted against the move and this forced them to look elsewhere. San jose is the most populated city in the Bay Area, but has long existed as a fan zone for the Niners and Giants. I guess it's a smart move but I know that myself and pretty much all the A's fans I know would have a hard time getting into the San Jose move. It's still a long way from a resolution, so we'll see what happens. I'll probably still support them but probably won't head to too many games. San Jose ain't my favorite place at all. Oakland just can't do anything to keep them, they are too broke and it just isn't a great place to maintain and expand a franchise in the modern age.

I didn't even know the A's were moving to San Jose until today. Hmmm. What does it mean for the whole Bay Area sports fan dynamic? Are most of the A's fans cool with this move? The San Jose A's. Not bad.

Now that you mentioned it. I do remember you saying once that you were an A's fan. Mia culpa. Feck the Giants then. :D

But seriously, its one of those rare things in sports that happen only once in a while but when they do they just feel like magic. Those misfits and outcasts had no shot at anything and they ended up winning the whole damn thing.

Baseball is a fantastic sport. The Yankees and Phillies were supposed to play the World Series and its ends up being the Giants and the Rangers and the Giants win. Being a sports nut, I'm just amazed and enchanted by the whole thing.

Well my friend, I'll excuse you because of your hearing damage and loud ipod listening tendencies. Everyone else needs to learn how to pay attention!

Its not my fault. I listened to my I pod really loud for a few years and now i can't hear that well.

I spoke to an ENT specialist and she said that she has been receiving a lot of cases of hearing loss or partial hearing loss or difficulty in hearing over a background noise (my problem) in a younger age group then expected. There was a study done last year which linked this to I pods and how people (like me) listened to it on too high a volume for too long and are now having these issues. So i take offense to your "If you can huh? you can hear comment".

I 'huh' quite often actually and its because i can't hear.

Appiah is a proper legend. I saw him once at Heathrow about 4 years ago. Some guys stopped him for an autograph and he was very nice to them.

One of my favorite players too. The guy used to be a beast.
