I've just clicked on the link from the Austin members area that took me to your profile so as I'm the curious type I read the about me section.

I just wanted to say I'm sorry to hear about your situation and I hope everything goes as well as can be expected and I hope your brother passes peacefully when its his time.

I can't believe that nobody has "befriended" you. So I did. :)

I hope things are going as well as possible with your folks. I just collected the last of my Dad's things—well, the keepsakes I'd put aside after his funeral—from my step-mom in Nebraska. She's a sweet woman who brought him some joy in his final years—they went to high school together and met as widow and widower at their 50th reunion. She's slipping away by degrees and decided the house they shared was just too big and lonely, so she's moved into a retirement home where she can live independently. For many, many years, I hope.

Anyway, sorry to take up so much space. My son and I drove back from Kearney the last two days (1400+ miles) and I guess I'm still a little fried. :o
