    “I contacted (Sakiewicz) to clear the air,” Califf said. “I got permission from Toronto talk to him. He never got back to me.”

    Sakiewicz initially told PSP that Califf had not contacted him. After being informed Califf had already told PSP he had called and emailed Sakiewicz, Sakiewicz acknowledged this was true.
