I actually think it's worse. Empty space doesn't make bad passes, or shoot 10 feet wide when 5 feet away from an open goal.
Is it too late for the AFA to petition FIFA to allow Higuain to finally play for the country of his birth?
I am about to lose my job, but I would gladly contribute to a fund used to buyout Sampaoli's contract.
Have never agreed more with a post on this site in 15 years. Reasonable point made in another post about Sampaoli only having 1 year, but Simeone...
Was it Enzo Bearzot that said "Italians know how to win football games, Argentinians know how to win World Cups"? Oh, the good old days...
Agreed for so many reasons, including that these two do not carry the baggage of continually s***ing the bed like Di Maria and Higuain.

Interesting article on Sampaoli's tactics from Jonathan Wilson: https://www.si.com/soccer/2018/06/08/argentina-world-cup-jorge-sampaoli-tactics-messi

I think continually booting the ball into row 75 also shows a fragile mental state...
I was only kidding, as Hayaka pointed out. You are right about the score...I must have mistakenly treated Rafa's red card as a goal in my head.
And they only lost to a vastly superior US side by 1 goal in 2002.
